According to transfer specialist Ben Jacobs, Fulham are hopeful of signing Fluminense midfielder Andre in the January transfer window.
The Cottagers have been linked with a bid for the Brazilian midfielder in recent months, and it appears like a deal is on the cards.
The 22-year-old midfielder is eager to join the Premier League and has already agreed to terms.
According to Jacobs, Fulham CEO Alistair Mackintosh met with them in November and encouraged them to make the move in January.
Fluminense are demanding a sum in the region of £30 million and are prepared to lose Andre in the January transfer window.

Palhinha to depart?
Andre has stated his desire to play in the Premier League, and it is now up to Fulham to secure a deal for the midfielder.
Fulham are comfortably mid-table, and Marco Silva will aim to add a few players to his squad. They have done really well under him, yet in their most recent game, they defeated Arsenal 2-1.
Andre has established himself as a capable central midfielder in Brazil, and he may be an excellent addition to the squad.
If Andre joins in January, it is very likely that Joao Palhinha will go. The Portuguese midfielder was on the verge of joining Bayern Munich during the summer transfer window, but the deal fell through.
Jacobs says that Fulham expect Bayern to rekindle their interest in signing Palhinha in January, although the German giants are yet to make a move. Arsenal is also in the running, although it’s unclear whether they’d be willing to match Fulham’s asking price.
