Pittsburgh The Arizona Cardinals have signed former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Dan Chisena to a future/reserve deal before he can enter free agency. Chisena played with the Steelers during training camp last summer, vying for a roster berth. He ended up on the practice squads of the Arizona Cardinals and Minnesota Vikings following his cut during roster reductions. He participated in six games when he was in Arizona, two of which he attended after being signed off the practice squad.

Eventually, he joined with the practice squad of the Baltimore Ravens after leaving Arizona. Chisena was upgraded for both of their playoff games and joined their special teams squad once the postseason got underway. The former wide receiver at Penn State has spent his whole career mostly on the special team, where he has gained expertise returning kicks and punts and covering receivers. In 2024, he will return to Arizona, where the club hopes to add a wideout depth player.
