Depleted United Rotherham Verify severe injury setback before to challenging Leeds United match
At the foot of the table A number of first team players for Rotherham United are out with injuries ahead of their trip to Elland Road on Saturday to play Leeds United.
Rotherham United, Leeds United’s next opponent, has suffered yet another injury setback as their issues keep getting worse. This Saturday, the Whites will host the Millers at Elland Road in an attempt to continue their winning start to 2024.
Leam Richardson’s team must deal with yet another injury in order to maintain their limited chances of surviving. After sustaining injury to his ankle ligament during their 1-1 draw with Middlesbrough last month, Cohen Bramall will be sidelined for an extended period of time.
This season, the former Arsenal defender has appeared in 27 of the squad’s 29 Championship games as a first team regular. He has one goal and one assist under his belt.
Along with Cameron Humphreys, Shane Ferguson, Tyler Blackett, Grant Hall, Daniel Ayala, and Andre Green on the extended injured list, the 27-year-old is now one of them. Humphreys is the only player still in the running to play at Elland Road out of all those absentees.
The Rotherham Advertiser was informed by the team’s manager, Leam Richardson, that “he’ll be out for some time” following his team’s 2-0 home loss to Southampton, a result that put the basement club 12 points outside of safety.
For much of the remainder of the season, that is. One is returned to us, but Cohen leaves. Injuries haven’t worked out for us.
