Charlie Austin: Swindon Town striker says promotion will be 'tougher' next season - BBC Sport

Charlie Austin, a seasoned striker whose contract is about to expire, is one player who may be leaving Swindon before summer.

At the conclusion of the last campaign, the former Southampton and QPR player agreed to a one-year contract extension with the team; the new agreement will expire in the summer.

The 34-year-old’s contract may be extended by Swindon beyond this year because he has already shown promise by scoring goals and dishing out assists in League Two this season.

Brewitt, Tom

Tom Brewitt agreed to a one-year contract with Swindon to play for the team in 2023–2024 after making an impression during his brief tenure there the previous season.

After joining for the previous season, he participated in every game and has been a constant in the League Two team this year, sitting in the middle of the table.

As a result, the team will probably wish to keep him on staff and should provide a fresh contract offer to the 28-year-old when the league season ends.
