During the 2024 offseason, the New Orleans Saints require defensive line support. Both the NFL Draft and free agency will present them with chances. For them and many other NFL teams, one candidate makes a great deal of sense.

With an abundance of experience both inside and outside the SEC, Darius Robinson is a special defensive prospect. He was quite impressive in the 2024 NFL Scouting Combine, and he’s getting a lot of praise. The Saints find his athletic profile to be fascinating.

The Saints have long appreciated Robinson’s versatility as a deep threat despite his varied weight range of play. In recent years, Cameron Jordan has occasionally played inside, and in certain situations, a handful of their interior players have shifted outside.

After rising up the boards in the last month, the Mizzou product is now anticipated to be selected in the first two rounds of the draft. Nor should you be surprised if he is selected among the top twenty.

Robinson may be the focus of the Saints’ attention if other edge players go before the 14th selection.

Moreover, New Orleans will likely want him in the early second round if he drops. That is definitely on the table since they have never shied away from trading up.
