German businessman discusses the reported £28.7 million Irish proposals from London and Reading
Daniel Loitz, a German billionaire, defended his rumored purchase for Reading Football Club on social media.
Sky Sports published the story that Mr. Loitz, who has expertise bringing women’s football teams back to life, was interested in purchasing the franchise.
According to Sky Sports, owner Dai Yongge has been “radio silent” about his proposal, which is estimated to be approximately £28 million. The bid would include the stadium, training facility, and men’s and women’s teams.
The Reading Chronicle has been informed, nonetheless, that negotiations did not go past January because the necessary paperwork was not provided.
Yongge is evaluating the offers, and the club hopes to make a decision in the next 24 to 48 hours.
