The Miami Heat’s injury issues on this trip are becoming worse.

Duncan Robinson left Monday’s game against the Philadelphia 76ers after three quarters due to lower back discomfort. The Miami Herald was the first to report that Robinson made his way back to Miami to consult a back specialist.

Robinson won’t be there for the Cleveland Cavaliers game on Wednesday night.

Both Nikola Jovic, who was sidelined on Monday due to a hamstring injury, and Jimmy Butler, who has missed the previous two games due to a foot ailment, have been upgraded to doubtful.

With Tyler Herro and Duncan Robinson out, the Miami Heat’s greatest shooters won’t be available for Wednesday’s trip to Cleveland.
Josh Richardson (shoulder surgery) and Kevin Love (heel) are out.

Is Nikola Jovic a keeper for the Miami Heat this offseason?

begin their 33rd different starting lineup on Wednesday night at Cleveland. Robinson has replaced Tyler Herro, who is still out due to a right foot ailment, at the start of the previous 12 games. Averaging 13.9 points, 3.7 assists, and 3.5 rebounds during that period, Robinson shot 37.5% from three-point range.

The Heat will struggle to create spacing around Bam Adebayo and Butler (if he plays) in the absence of Herro and Robinson.

Adebayo, Caleb Martin, Terry Rozier, Jaime Jaquez Jr., Haywood Highsmith, Delon Wright, Patty Mills, and Thomas Bryant will be available for the Heat. Although they are assigned to the G League, Orlando Robinson and Alondes Williams may be called up for Wednesday’s contest. Cole Swider and Jamal Cain, two players on two-way contracts, are available.
