Swindon Town defender Sonny Hart has joined Canvey Island on loan, according to the club’s official website.
Swindon Town has allowed the kid to go on a temporary basis.
Hart, 18, will be eager to get valuable playing experience in the Isthmian League Premier Division.
According to Sean Wood, the Robins’ Under-18 manager, “This opportunity will give Sonny a perfect opportunity to expand and learn more about his game defensively while also providing him with another experience of Men’s football.”
Swindon Town’s loan exit
Hart will benefit much from playing first-team football in non-league settings, which will help him improve.
This season, he has played an important role for Swindon’s academy in the Youth Alliance League.
has also played in the FA Youth Cup for Wiltshire FC.
However, having the opportunity to play in the senior game will benefit him and provide him with valuable experience.
Hart has spent his whole career with the Robins, working his way up through the League Two club’s academy systems.
He has been a regular for them at all junior levels, making his EFL Trophy debut against Crystal Palace Under-21s in 2022.
The youngster has now played three more games this season and has previously been loaned out to Harrow Borough and Gloucester City.
