Cincinnati Bengals’ Free Agent Signings Complete your rite of passage by eating the #1 local food choice.
While it may not seem like much, each player who plays for the Cincinnati Bengals must earn the fans’ respect. There are obviously several approaches to this, but immersing yourself in the local culture is always a good place to start. There are several possibilities for a beginner, but practically every new player in Cincinnati does the same thing.
Cincinnati Bengals free agents try the local cuisine.
Just last week, tight end Mike Gesicki and running back Zack Moss were named to this year’s crop of free agents who will play in Cincinnati. They will address critical needs for Cincinnati, as the tight end and running back spots were left unfilled when starters Irv Smith Jr. and Joe Mixon left. Despite the fact that each player is on a short-term deal (one year for Gesicki and two years for Moss), they both made an effort to build rapport with the supporters.
How would these two young guys do it, you wonder? In case the introduction wasn’t enough, Gesicki and Moss individually went to the team’s social media account and sampled some of the city’s most popular foods: Cheese Coneys.
To those who are unfamiliar with Cincinnati cheese coneys, they are similar to chili dogs but with Cincinnati’s signature chili, a large handful of cheddar cheese, and a dab of mustard and onions. They are available at practically all of the city’s chili parlors.
