Bantams owner Stefan Rupp sends a two-word message to the manager of Bradford City, Graham Alexander.
The City owner was at Valley Parade last Saturday and saw the 5-1 thumping by Mansfield.
Rupp was in England to discuss the club’s player budget for the next season, his first meeting with the manager in person.
Alexander stated, “We had a fantastic conversation for a couple of hours last Friday at the office with Stefan and Ryan (Sparks).
“He just wanted to hear my thoughts on what I’ve discovered at the club and what we believe we need to be successful in the future.” “That’s typical owner/manager conversation.”
Rupp was then attacked by irate supporters following City’s biggest home defeat since 2020, as the pressure intensifies fo
Ask him to sell the club.
“It was disappointing for him to be here on such a disappointing day for us, without a shadow of a doubt,” he said. “But I don’t believe that’s the really us.
“We’ve won six games in a row for the first time since the 1980s, followed by a winless stretch.
“I believe we were at the top of the form table four weeks ago, but we have now lost three home games.”
“We’re capable of extremely excellent outcomes and really strong form, but we’ve also done really well in the previous eight days. That’s what we have to destroy.”
