Carlton Palmer, an England player, has suggested Karamoko Dembele which club he should join next after leaving Blackpool this summer.
This week, the 21-year-old has been linked to nine different teams. Three Premier League teams and four Championship clubs are keeping an eye on Dembele, who has been one of League One’s top performers this season.
West Ham United, Everton, Brentford, Fulham, and Nottingham Forest, all competing in the Europa League, are keeping a careful eye on Dembele. In the Championship, he is favored by the three clubs vying for automatic promotion: Leeds, Leicester City, and Southampton, as well as play-off contender Middlesbrough.
Dembele has 11 goals and six assists in the league this season and is a popular figure among Blackpool fans. Carlton Palmer has given him some advise on where he should go next. Carlton Palmer has played for West Brom, Sheffield Wednesday, Leeds United, and Southampton. Between 1992 and 1993, he earned 18 caps for England.
Palmer told Football League World: “Karamoko Dembele is generating a lot of attention. He is now on loan at Blackpool, where the 21-year-old has been in excellent form this season. He has contributed 19 goals in all competitions.
“This has brought him to the notice of West Ham and Everton, who are both interested in the player. It’ll be fascinating to see whether they can strike a deal with his current club to get him out. With his age of 21, he might be a top-tier player.
“Maybe a Leeds or a Leicester would be more tempting to a player in terms of increased playing time. If he joined Everton or West Ham, he would be more of a squad player.
“It will be interesting to see what happens to him.” He has done really well, and at the age of 21, I believe he would want to join a team like Leeds or Leicester, where he would be assured greater playing time if he moved.”
