Last Saturday’s 4-0 win against Cambridge United increased their lead above the relegation zone to seven points.

The club has had a difficult few months, notably during the January transfer window.

They did add one player, Arsenal centre-back Zane Monlouis, but he has only made one appearance, leading many to wonder why he was signed in the first place.

Reading urgently needed center-back depth following the January fire sale.
