Kyle Van Noy, a free agency outside linebacker, responded to fans’ questions on Twitter in a scattered Q&A session. Ravens supporters asked about his return for the 2024 season and whether he was in discussions to re-sign with the team. According to Van Noy, he is in negotiations with General Manager Eric DeCosta about a future comeback.

Van Noy was one of DeCosta’s better additions last season, which is saying something given that practically every signing contributed to their AFC Championship run. DeCosta has signed cornerbacks Ronald Darby and Arthur Maulet, wide receivers Odell Beckham Jr. and Nelson Agholor, and outside linebackers Jadeveon Clowney and Van Noy. Unlike the other players, Van Noy signed with the Ravens in late September.

didn’t skip a beat, piling up nine sacks (a single-season personal high), four passes defensed, and two forced fumbles across 14 games.

Baltimore Ravens v Jacksonville Jaguars

The Ravens need an outside linebacker since both Clowney and Van Noy signed one-year contracts last season. Both excelled, recording a combined 18.5 sacks and either tying or breaking their respective single-season sack records. Bringing back one of them reduces the team’s need for a pass rusher while also returning a veteran to mentor Odafe Oweh, David Ojabo, and Tavius Robinson.

However, a new contract will not be as inexpensive as it was in 2023. However, Van Noy looks to be open to negotiating a reasonable contract if he is to re-sign in Baltimore.
