Alan Browne, the club’s captain, is one of six Deepdale players nearing the end of their contracts. The Irishman has been granted new terms after making his 400th appearance for PNE earlier this year. So far this season, North End has extended contracts with Ben Whiteman, Brad Potts, Andrew Hughes, Dai Cornell, Noah Mawene, and Josh Seary.
