Reading FC’s manager is hopeful for ‘positive news’ after the club announced on Tuesday that it had inked exclusivity with an undisclosed party exploring a takeover.
The Royals have had a difficult time under Dai Yongge, but they now have cause to be positive after the club took a significant step toward completing a sale, which is estimated to take up to two months.
“I noticed the club’s statement; I don’t know any details, but I hope it’s good news.
“Because of exclusivity I have read that but I don’t have the confirmation of anything, I just know the club has accepted the letter of intention and hopefully if it is happening then it’s a good thing for the club and the people working at the club.”
Despite the announcement that exclusivity has been secured. Selles confessed that he is still concerned about the issue.
He said, “I don’t feel that yet (calm). I understand the context around the comment, but it did not ease me down.
