Louie Marsh, a U21 striker for Sheffield United, is now one of the club’s most exciting prospects.
Marsh scored 22 goals for the development club last season, earning the Golden Boot and helping the Blades win another PDL North title. His scoring prowess continued, as he scored again in the team’s national semi-final triumph over Bristol City.
His development won him a new three-year contract with Sheffield United, which he signed last summer. Marsh was then transferred on loan to pursue his development away from the club.
Marsh was loaned out earlier this season to League Two club Doncaster Rovers. After scoring one goal and appearing in nine games in all competitions, the 20-year-old’s loan tenure was cut short due to an injury.
He had another injury, but he just returned to action for the U21s, playing 45 minutes in a 3-1 win over Peterborough United.
Marsh scored twice before being pulled at halfway, bringing his total for the development squad this season to eight goals after only appearing three times previously.

In a recent SUTV interview, Marsh emphasized that his next priority is to get into Sheffield United’s plans for the rest of the season and beyond.
