Swindon Town interim manager Gavin Gunning has announced that  will be sidelined for the remainder of the season.
Swindon Town have been given a major blow on the injury front, with the midfielder expected to remain out until the summer.

Khan, 28, has been a regular in the League Two midfield this season but has missed the previous two games against Accrington Stanley and Doncaster Rovers.

Gunning has issued an update on his position, according to the Swindon Advertiser: “Saidou Khan is out for the season. I know the fans have been critical of his [Khan’s] performances, but he has been dealing with this ailment for a while and has continued to play, and you can see how it has significantly impacted his performance.”

Swindon Town’s injury blow

Khan’s absence is not good for Swindon as they attempt to improve their record. They are presently in 20th place in the standings ahead of their Easter fixtures against Notts County and Sutton United.

The Gambia-born player has been with the Wiltshire club since 2022, appearing in 70 games in all competitions, scoring two goals and assisting four others.
