Unai Emery sent a fantastic statement on social media after meeting Aston Villa hero Gordon Cowans.
The 65-year-old was at Villa Park on Saturday night to witness Emery’s team defeat Wolves 2-0. Moussa Diaby started the scoring in the first half, while Ezri Konsa doubled Villa’s lead in the 65th minute.
After full-time, Emery shared a photo of himself and Cowans on his personal Instagram account. The caption read: “+3. Inch by inch.” Thank you, Villa Park!!
