The Kansas City Chiefs have made some significant offseason additions, despite losing cornerback L’Jarius Sneed and addressing the vehicle accident that wide out Rashee Rice is claimed to have been involved in.

First, there was the massive contract for about $159 million spread over five years given to Chris Jones, the outstanding pass rusher.

Then, on Friday, they reached an agreement to retain starter defensive end Mike Danna for a three-year contract for $24 million.

Jones forewarned the rest of the NFL that it would be in peril if Danna was to be locked up for a few years.

Thanks to a potent offense led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes, the Chiefs have been a top club in recent years. Their offensive won them two Super Bowl titles in 2019 and 2022.

If The Chiefs Sit Chris Jones, It Could Cost Him $1.25 Million

However, they impressively revamped themselves last year.

After being moved in the 2022 offseason, star wide out Tyreek Hill was already gone, and they had also lost JuJu Smith-Schuster, who was their most successful wideout that year.

As a result, Kansas City adopted a more cautious offensive strategy and began to win more games by playing defense than they had previously. As a result of their newfound focus, they finished second in terms of total yards allowed and points scored.
