It was one of Reading FC’s greatest performances of the season, according to manager Ruben Selles, who also declared his club to be the best team on the field.
With a late goal from Tyler Bindon, the Royals tied the hot-shot Lincoln City team.
“We were, in my opinion, the finest squad playing today. For us, it was one of the finest shows of the year,” Selles remarked.
“In possession, we dominated the activities. Undoubtedly, there were a few errors made during the setup, but it is part of the game we play.
“We attempted to play our game, were aggressive, and were quick on the draw. In one action, we fell behind, but we persevered to score from the corner and put some circumstances in their box.
“We should be ahead before they score, so I think we need to keep working and be more merciless in the last third of the game.”
