The head coach of Huddersfield Town reveals a boost for Tom Lees and Jack Rudoni.
“Tom Lees and Jack Rudoni trained for the first time, and we have to decide overnight if they can start,” Breitenreiter stated.
“We require new players with a fresh mindset and set of legs. They certainly are a possibility for the Bristol game.
“We demonstrated for more than fifty-five minutes that even without seasoned players, we could play a decent game at Preston. However, we were dealt a bad break when Ben Wiles was fouled, but there was no penalty.
“It was the second time (a judgment went against Town) following the West Brom offside goal, and in situations like these, you need leaders and experienced players on the field to diffuse the tension.
For that reason, we are thrilled that Tom Lees may perhaps participate on Saturday. He is a vital member of the squad and consistently puts up strong performances.
“Radinio Balker is working out alone, and I don’t think we’ll see them on the field again.
“I believe Jonathan Hogg’s season is over due to a fractured shoulder.
“So it’s good to have Tom and Jack back; they’re quality players with experience who will help us.”

Although Breitenreiter sees it as a broader problem that could raise the caliber of the Championship, he has expressed his opinion that VAR should be implemented in the second tier for the upcoming season. He has been hurt by several crucial decisions that have gone against his team in the club’s recent games.
“I never talk about referees too much,” he continued. However, following a poor choice, it has already happened at least twice, changing everything (for Huddersfield).
“For the upcoming season, England is undergoing a new’revolution’ regarding offside, and because the Championship is the greatest second league in the world and does not already have VAR, they may need to consider using it. You may need to consider it in order to make the best choice.
