A’medical event’ in the Leeds Road area of Huddersfield yesterday night resulted in the hospitalization of a teenager.
A number of land ambulances and an air ambulance arrived at the location, with the air ambulance landing within Huddersfield Town’s training complex.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police also showed up at the site.

According to a West Yorkshire Police spokeswoman, the ambulance service phoned them just before 9.30 p.m.
The Force released the following statement: “Last night, just before 9.30 p.m., the ambulance service phoned police to report a medical event that had happened on Leeds Road, Huddersfield, earlier in the evening.
“A teenager has suffered a medical episode and was taken to hospital for treatment.”
“There were three ambulances, a doctor’s car, and the air ambulance,” stated a guy who witnessed the ambulances at the site. One ambulance with blue lights departed.
The air ambulance, he reported, had touched down within the training facility.
