Running back J.K. Dobbins of the Baltimore Ravens and his agency Loyalty Above All announced on Wednesday night that Dobbins would sign a one-year contract with the Los Angeles Chargers.

So far throughout his NFL career, Dobbins has been a resident of Baltimore. Despite playing in 15 games in his debut season, he has missed the previous three seasons due to injury. He missed the whole 2021 season after tearing his Achilles tendon before to the season. He participated in eight games in 2022 before missing just one game the previous season—the team’s Week 1 encounter—due to an Achilles tear.

Dobbins tweeted, “Let’s do it,” just after the Chargers’ deal was announced. He embellished the tweet with a pale blue heart.

Gus Edwards, a former running back for the Ravens, will rejoin Dobbins after he inked a two-year contract with the Chargers last month. Furthermore, Greg Roman, the offensive coordinator for the Baltimore Ravens from 2019 until his hiring by the Chargers in February, will once again oversee Dobbins’ play.
