Nathan Jones, the manager of Charlton Athletic, has stated that the team is preparing for one of its “biggest” summers as he attempts to add players.
The goal of Charlton Athletic is to increase their roster by adding several new players.
Next season, the Addicks hope to move up from League One to the Championship.
Jones stated, “We will bring in a number of players – we know exactly the positions we want to bring them in,” according to a London News Online story. Each and every one of those guys will be able to elevate the eleven. We have a large enough team, thus we don’t want to add more players. We will promote both our young players and those from the academy.
“I don’t like recruiting big numbers every year, so this will probably be one of our biggest summers in terms of numbers,” he continued.
“I’ve had the opportunity to work with individuals for fifteen games. After evaluating those players, I can say that they are the ones that can demonstrate my preferred style of play for the team. We’ll be much stronger when we exit this window than when we entered it.”I’ve assessed,” the Charlton Athletic manager says regarding summer transfer intentions.
The head of Charlton Athletic details his transfer ambitions.
So far, Charlton Athletic’s choice to sign Jones following their split with Michael Appleton has proven to be beneficial.
The former Southampton, Stoke City, and Luton Town player has helped them avoid relegation in the third division and has completely changed their fortunes.
They are now a formidable opponent and will be full of confidence going into the upcoming season as they aim to reclaim the championship.
