Morgan Whittaker
Because of his adaptability in the front four, Morgan Whittaker is the ideal substitute for both Jack Clarke and Amad Diallo.
The 23-year-old, who is mostly a winger, has often filled the role of an offensive midfielder this season. Most famously, he scored a hat-trick in a 6-2 victory against Norwich in September.
With 20 goals this season in all competitions, Whittaker may be leaving Plymouth, as the team is still in danger of relegation.
Kwame Poku Prior to the January transfer window, Ipswich and Sunderland were both said to be interested in signing Kwame Poku.
The 22-year-old may position himself just behind the striker or on either side of them.
In League One, he has contributed seven assists and eleven goals. This summer, he will enter the last 12 months of his contract.
If Peterborough United were unable to earn promotion, Poku could try to go up to the Championship.
Nwaneri Ethan
Ethan Nwaneri is the least experienced of the three, but he is also likely the most promising.
The 17-year-old, who came up via Arsenal’s system, made history last season by being the youngest player to ever play in the Premier League.
Nwaneri, who is incredibly well regarded at the club and had attempts to join with Chelsea and Manchester City last summer, signed his first professional deal with the Gunners last month.
The offensive midfielder, who made a brief appearance in the 6-0 victory against West Ham earlier this year, has 17 goals and three assists in all youth competitions this season.
