One of the BIG3 co-founders claims Caitlin Clark’s agents hid the league’s lucrative offer to the former Iowa star.

BIG3 CEO Jeff Kwatinetz penned an opinion post for OutKick, which was published on Wednesday. Kwatinetz detailed the BIG3 basketball league’s offer to Clark in his column.

He claims the BIG3’s offer to Clark included $10 million over two years, a percentage of team ownership, a 50% revenue split on items using her name and likeness, and ownership of a BIG3 documentary with a seven-figure bonus.

Additionally, their offer would have allowed Clark to play in the WNBA.

However, Kwatinetz claims he has evidence that Clark’s agents never discussed the offer with her.

“I learned about the Big3 at the same time you all did,” Clark was reported as saying last month. “I don’t really talk about such topics with anyone. I have other individuals that deal with it, and they have not mentioned it to me. My primary attention is on this team and helping us find a way to defeat Colorado and possibly win another.

Kwatinetz noted in his article that the NBA is being probed by the Department of Justice for suspected antitrust breaches. He may believe that Clark’s statement that she was never offered with the BIG3’s offer is proof of anti-competitive action by the NBA/WNBA toward the BIG3.

Clark will earn less than $100,000 each season throughout her four-year contract with the WNBA’s Indiana Fever. She will make far more money from her endorsement arrangements.
