Every released Championship and League One player that Portsmouth may sign this summer

League One and Championship teams have begun releasing their retained lists for next season.
The transfer window is almost open, and Portsmouth will be fishing in a totally different pond this summer. Pompey will try to bolster their squad with a number of fresh signings before the new season in order to make the most of their promotion to the Championship.
Portsmouth will still be searching for a bargain, however, and the prospect of adding Championship talent to their squad for free will undoubtedly appeal. The club will maintain a careful eye on the retained and released lists over the following two weeks to see who could be available. With that in mind, here’s a look at the players released by second and third-tier clubs this month.
1. Bristol City.
