Former West Bromwich Albion star linked with huge Premier League switch.
Tosin Adarabioyo, a former West Bromwich Albion player, is being linked with a transfer to English heavyweights Manchester United once his contract with Fulham expires this summer.

After emerging from Manchester City’s prestigious system and earning his debut under Pep Guardiola in 2016, the central defender joined the Baggies on loan and appeared 36 times for the club while current Port Vale manager Darren Moore was in charge.

The centre-back finally secured a permanent move to Craven Cottage, where he appeared 132 times for Fulham over four seasons, three of which were Premier League. However, Adarabioyo’s time with the London club will come to an end on Sunday, when Marco Silva’s side face Luton Town away on the last day of the season.

Nonetheless, he is expected to get several offers, according to recent sources. According to Sky Sports News, 13-time Premier League winners Manchester United are monitoring Adarabioyo’s position at Fulham and will attempt to sign the 26-year-old.

Furthermore, the site claims that the Red Devils will face heavy competition for the former West Bromwich Albion loanee from Newcastle United and even AC Milan in Italy.

On Tuesday morning, it was reported that World Cup-winning defender Raphael Varane would be departing Old Trafford at the end of the season, with his contract scheduled to expire following the FA Cup final against Manchester City next Saturday, leaving a slot at the back vacant for Adarabioyo.

Writer’s perspective

Adarabioyo has always been an excellent defender. While not promoted during his loan season at West Bromwich Albion in 2018/19, the centre-back demonstrated that he was a highly good defender who could regularly play in the Premier League, which he subsequently did.

Being born in Manchester, a move to one of the world’s greatest clubs would be a wonderful chance for him, and considering Varane’s departure in the next fortnight, he could likely start next season at the Theatre of Dreams.
