Former Charlton Athletic transfer target Jonson Clarke-Harris has joined Rotherham United.
Today, the Millers confirmed the return of the 29-year-old striker, who previously played for them, as manager Steve Evans’ first signing.
Evans just left Stevenage for a second managerial tenure at Rotherham, who were demoted from the Championship.
Charlton negotiated a deal with Peterborough United during the January transfer window, but they were unable to match Clarke-Harris’ financial demands.
We recently stated on the South London Press Football Pod that the forward was no longer on their list of objectives.
Clarke-Harris has signed a two-year agreement with Rotherham United, who are anticipated to do well in the next League One season.
