The defender played more than 20 games after spending the season at Kenilworth Road.
Manchester City defender Issa Kabore hailed Luton for the ‘great times’ he had during his loan stay with the club this season.
The 22-year-old appeared 26 times in total after being permitted to leave Manchester City last summer to spend the season in Bedfordshire, having previously played for French Ligue 1 club Marseille. Although an ankle injury suffered against Brentford prevented him from playing in the final four games of the season, Kabore was at Kenilworth Road for the end-of-season lap of gratitude following Sunday’s 4-2 defeat to Fulham.
Taking to Instagram later, the Burkina Faso international wrote: “By this post, I’d want to thank @lutontown for all these lovely times we spent together for this joy. I also want to thank the staff and my colleagues for the happiness and love you have offered me; you are the finest.
“Finally, I’d want to thank everyone for their support of the club and the players. You were wonderful from the start, and we always felt like we were part of your family. You pushed us from start to finish. We are quite unhappy that we were unable to reach our aims. Thank you very much.
