Rotherham United Now Confirm That Another Midfielder Will Leave The Club Upon The Expiration Of His Current Deal

It has now been confirmed by Rotherham United that Lindsay, another midfield player, will depart the team this summer when his contract at AESSEAL New York Stadium expires.

When the club’s retained list was revealed at the end of the 2023–24 season, it was stated that manager Steve Evans had extended an offer to the Scot. However, after extensive negotiations, Lindsay decided to take on a fresh challenge somewhere else.

After moving to South Yorkshire from Ross County in July of 2019, Lindsay has been a major contributor to the club’s accomplishments throughout the next five years.

Among the dynamic midfielder’s career highlights include his promotion from Sky Bet League One in 2021–2022, which coincided with the team’s Papa Johns Trophy victory that same year. A season later, he helped the Millers remain in the second division.

Between 2019 and 2014, the Rutherglen-born operator appeared over 150 times for Rotherham United. Everyone at AESSEAL New York Stadium extends their gratitude and best wishes to the player as they depart the team.
