According to the Express & Star, if Matheus Nunes decides to make a significant financial move away from Manchester City, Wolves may benefit monetarily.
The 25-year-old made a last-minute transition before the transfer window closed last summer, leaving in a club record £53 million transaction.
Nunes played at City for 29 games in all competitions, although he was goalless in a dismal debut campaign that saw the North West team win the Premier League title once more.
