Chelsea needs to sign Max Kilman.

The Blues had a dismal season by their standards, and they will try to improve next year. They will need to fill weaknesses in their squad during the summer transfer window in order to recover significantly.

Signing a great central defender should be one of their top objectives.

The 27-year-old Premier League defender appears to be the ideal addition for them in principle, but it remains to be seen whether the Blues can complete the deal.

Chelsea is under financial strain and will have to adhere to the Premier League’s profit and sustainability criteria. They will not be able to splurge on the Wolves defender, and the Blues will seek to sign Kilman for a cheap fee this summer.
