According to SportBladet, West Brom are interested in FC St. Pauli defender Eric Smith, as is fellow second-tier club Leeds United. The former Sweden youth international has been linked with a move to England this summer.
Smith, 27, has been with his current team since 2021 and helped them achieve promotion to the Bundesliga in the previous season. He is teammates with Jackson Irvine and Dapo Afolayan, both of whom are former Football League players.
Burnley targets winger
TEAMtalk has connected the Baggies with Queens Park winger Aiden McGinlay, as well as Stoke City. The Daily Record reports that demoted Burnley are interested in signing him.
McGinlay, 17, is projected for a bright career in the game. He had previously been on the Partick Thistle roster.
