Bradford City AFC is delighted to reveal the club’s all-new 2024/25 Macron away kit – available now!

The strip can be purchased online via the club’s official retail website now, by CLICKING HERE, and from the Bradford City Store on South Parade, when it opens at 9.00am tomorrow (Friday).

A throwback to the 1970s, the kit is inspired by a similar look first sported by the Bantams around 50 years ago. The shirt is white with solitary claret and amber stripes down the middle, and claret and amber shoulders, which each carry a retro ‘BC’ wordmark sublimated into the fabric.

Main club partners JCT600 and University of Bradford take pride of place, respectively printed on the front and back, with Macron branding on the front and the aforementioned shoulder patches, and Flamingo Land on the left sleeve of each playing and replica shirt. The playing shirts (non-replica) carry a nod to Bradford 2025 with ‘UK City of Culture’ beneath the crest.

White shorts carry a tonal club crest and the ‘BC’ wordmark sublimated on the claret and amber panels, with Regal Foods again appearing on the rear. The socks are white, finished with a claret and amber trim and a ‘BCAFC’ wordmark.

Launched alongside a 70s-inspired video, the ‘It’s a Retro Thing’ campaign sees men’s first-teamers Brad Halliday, Ciarán Kelly and Clarke Oduor star alongside Bradford City Women’s Mia Jacobs and Aaliyah Nolan, former Bantams Ian Cooper and Jimmy Cuthbertson and representatives from main club partner Bradford College.

The jersey has again been crafted from Macron’s lightweight and tear-resistant Eco-Exalock fabric, a 100% recycled polyester yarn certified by the Global Recycled Standard.

In particular, the back is in Eco Micromesh: a breathable technical fabric, specially designed for game sets with 100% recycled polyester yarn. It is comfortable thanks to its softness and elasticity.

The lateral inserts in Eco Mesh give this fabric maximum breathability and lightness, thanks to the micro-perforated construction.

A rubberised, tonal club crest – complete with a star marking the 1911 FA Cup triumph – is pressed onto a panel which is embroidered into the shirt, appearing on the front alongside the Macron logo.

The rear of the jersey is complemented by a traditional black ribbon, paying tribute to the lives tragically lost in the Valley Parade Fire Disaster on 11th May 1985.

The strip is set to make its debut in the Bantams’ pre-season trip to Scunthorpe United on Saturday July 13. Tickets for this fixture can be purchased by CLICKING HERE.

To purchase your 2024/25 away kit now, please CLICK HERE or head to the Bradford City Store on South Parade from 9.00am today (Friday).
