Angel Reese talks about how her experience at LSU with Kim Mulkey helped her become ready for the WNBA.

Angel Reese, a former standout player at LSU, has participated in ten games during her rookie year with the Chicago Sky. The star forward attributes her smooth transition to Kim Mulkey, the women’s basketball coach, and her experience at LSU.

Reese has not held back when discussing the physical nature of the NFL since draft night. However, she recently shared details of her journey from professional ball to collegiate ball.

She stated, “I think my transition has been great,” in a CBS Sports interview.

Reese averages 11 points and nine rebounds per game and has had four double-doubles in her previous six outings. In LSU’s championship season, Reese famously shattered both the NCAA double-double record and the single-season record held by LSU legend Sylvia Fowles.

“Kim Mulkey helped me get ready for this… “I assumed the training camp at Chicago Sky would be more challenging,” Reese remarked.

Reese said that LSU sessions lasted almost four hours.
