Can Texas A&M football, after having the 5-star ATH on OV this weekend, complete the deal?

After the events in College Station this past weekend, Texas A&M football appears to be in a terrific position for one of its main targets.

Following OV this weekend, Texas A&M football seems to be in the lead in the recruitment of 5-star ATH Michael Terry III.
Football at Texas A&M has finished up another fantastic recruiting weekend. Although it seems like I say it every weekend these days, the Ags have been working incredibly hard over the last few weeks to bring some elite targets to campus.

One of those targets, Michael Terry III, a prospect from San Antonio who is ATH, was on campus this past weekend. Terry has always been regarded as one of the best names on the Aggies board, and rightfully so. Terry is the best ATH prospect in the country, depending on where you look and how you categorize prospects (Jonah Williams could potentially win this title depending on whether you consider him as an ATH or a S).

Terry plays wide receiver and running back for Alamo Heights. He is 215 pounds and 6’3″. But with his frame, he projects best as a receiver at the next level unless he wants to play linebacker, which is understandable!

By all accounts, Terry has been a terrific addition to the Aggies thus far. Given that the Aggies and Longhorns are two of his preferred schools, he is among the state’s most important recruits this season. To put it another way, this is a major recruitment for Mike Elko; in fact, I called it a “must-win” in a previous column.
