A player for the Wolves may relocate to Saudi Arabia or Spain. Gary O’Neil is making a decision.

The Portuguese media today emphasizes how fierce the rivalry is to recruit Wolverhampton Wanderers’ Chiquinho this summer.

It was previously reported that Portuguese giants Sporting and SC Braga are keen to retain the youngster, who just completed a loan season at Famalicão.

The daily Record has returned with a new report stating that teams outside are also interested in signing Chiquinho. These are Al-Ettifaq in Saudi Arabia and Villarreal in Spain.

Although his representatives are already aware of all the attention, it is rumored that Wolves have not yet received any formal proposals for the player.
The source claims that manager Gary O’Neil will have Chiquinho available for the preseason, considering his performance while his loan at Famalicão, and will assess his potential.

Wolves won’t decide what to do with the winger this summer until after that.

Chiquinho, who plays for Famalicão, has 27 appearances this season with five goals and four assists. Transfemarkt now values him at €3 million, and he is under contract with the Molineux side till 2026.
