Newcastle United is in discussions to sign a double contract with Saudi Arabia; the £100k-a-week star is advised to find a new club.

HITC is aware that negotiations regarding agreements for Miguel Almiron and Callum Wilson have taken place between Newcastle United and the Saudi Pro League.

It has been communicated to both players that they are not assured first-team involvement going ahead and that they can find other clubs this summer.

Both Miguel Almiron and Callum Wilson are amenable to the idea of relocating to the Middle East and leaving St. James’ Park this summer.

HITC is aware that Newcastle United would like for both players to go to Saudi Arabia since it is the best way to make money and pay their salaries in full, something that would be difficult to achieve elsewhere.

HITC is aware, though, that teams in Europe and players in the MLS are also being pursued.

Although Almiron’s new deal with Newcastle implies that his salary might be a roadblock, teams in Spain and Italy are ready to sign him.

Almiron signed a three-and-a-half-year contract in 2023 to prolong his time in Tyneside.
Callum Wilson sparks attention from the Premier League
In addition to the MLS and Saudi Arabia, a number of English teams are also monitoring Wilson’s circumstances at Newcastle.

With a salary of well over £100,000 a week, the 32-year-old is among the best-paid players at St. James’ Park.

If Wilson were to sign with a new team, he would prefer a multi-year deal, but it would be challenging for him to go to another English club given his present salary.

Although Wilson’s long-term injury problems are a concern, West Ham is reportedly still interested in signing him and is unwilling to pay a high price to do so.

HITC is aware that Wilson’s previous teams, Fulham, Leicester City, and Bournemouth, are also monitoring his circumstances while he makes decisions about his future.

Wilson finished the previous season with 10 goals in all competitions while playing second fiddle to Alexander Isak at Newcastle.

It makes the most sense for all sides to relocate away from the North East as Newcastle tries to strengthen their front line this summer.
