Antonio Pierce, the coach of the Raiders, is listed in his wife’s $28 million loan.

Antonio Pierce, the head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders and a former NFL linebacker, is listed in his wife’s Arizona bankruptcy case. Pierce reportedly made investments in auto shops that missed $28 million in loan payments.

Antonio’s salary with the Raiders are being garnished by lenders, including Nissan Motor Acceptance Corporation and Hyundai Capital America, according to Jocelyn Pierce’s filing from June 12 in US Bankruptcy Court in Arizona, which DailyMail.com was able to get.

In order to “protect her assets,” Jocelyn filed for bankruptcy, according to papers submitted on her behalf. Jocelyn, who was married in 2008, has been given until July 12 to gather any documentation pertaining to “community property” between her and her spouse.

Jocelyn alleges in her complaint that Antonio participated in many auto dealerships as a “passive investor” in the 2010s, but the lenders were able to present documentation proving the 45-year-old football coach was a guarantor when the firms fell behind on their debts.

Labor lawyer Jason Morrin made the case public on X for the first time. When DailyMail.com requested comment, a lawyer for Jocelyn Pierce did not immediately reply.

Since Antonio was elevated by the Raiders from interim coach to head coach in January, the increased compensation has not been made public. In October, the former linebacker for the Giants and Redskins took over as head coach when Josh McDaniels was dismissed. Under Pierce’s leadership, the Raiders finished with an 8-9 record after starting 5-4 and almost missing the playoffs.

According to a court document acquired by DailyMail.com, the former Super Bowl champion was previously listed as a defendant in a class-action case in Pennsylvania that is still pending. In that situation, Jessie Armstead, another former linebacker with the Giants, is also included.

Outside of the NFL, Pierce is most remembered for having sent Giants wide receiver Plaxico Burress to the hospital after the latter unintentionally shot himself at a nightclub in 2008. Pierce was subsequently found not guilty of any crimes related to the event.
