Pompey Has Now Closed a Deal With the QPR Star
Jordan Archer, a goalkeeper, has officially joined Pompey on a two-year contract.
The 31-year-old, who has one Scotland cap, departed Queens Park Rangers at the end of the last campaign.
“Jordan brings a wealth of experience and knows what it takes to compete at this level of the game,” Blues manager John Mousinho stated.
When he briefly visited Oxford a few years ago, I had the pleasure of playing with him.

o In addition to being a fantastic goalie, I know he’s a terrific guy and a great professional to have around the dressing room.
“It strengthens our current options in that area, and we’re excited to welcome another player for the start of the preseason.”
Archer made 166 appearances for the Londoners while rising through the ranks at Tottenham before joining Millwall in 2015.
He received his senior Scotland cap during his tenure at The Den, when he played in a friendly loss to Peru.
Prior to joining QPR in July 2021, Archer had spells at Oxford, Fulham, Motherwell, and Middlesbrough.
