Rob Edwards targets new arrivals as Luton Town sets sights on a 24-year-old

Lewis O’Brien, a midfielder for Nottingham Forest, is being pursued by both Luton Town and Norwich City, per a story in The Sun.
As Luton Town gets ready to return to the Championship, they are considering making a move for the Premier League player. They certainly have competition for his signing this summer, but they might view him as someone who would bring more competitiveness and depth to their choices in the center of the park.

O’Brien, 25, played 23 games in all competitions at Riverside Stadium on his one-year loan with Middlesbrough in the second division last season. With a few years remaining on his contract at the City Ground, he has now returned to his original club

Before making his way into the starting lineup for the Terriers, O’Brien gained experience during a loan stint away from Bradford City’s John Smith’s Stadium after rising through the youth levels at Huddersfield Town.

During his tenure there under Carlos Corberan, he assisted the Yorkshire club in reaching the play-off final before Nottingham Forest signed him.

He was sent on loan to America to play for DC United in Major League Soccer before temporarily joining Middlesbrough in the previous season.

He could have been recognized by Luton Town as someone who might offer them something unique in the center of the pitch.

He may provide them with a little more balance in that area because he is left-footed.
