This summer, West Ham will have a new manager, staff, players, and even a new training facility.

After four and a half years under David Moyes, Julen Lopetegui is the new manager of the Hammers.

The significant overhaul that West Ham needs this summer has been the focus of the Spaniard’s tight collaboration with technical director Tim Steidten.

On Wednesday, players who haven’t been on international duty since the conclusion of the last campaign will report back for preseason workouts.

Given that five players have left the team as free agents, Lopetegui’s first official day on the job seems to be quite calm.

A new era for Hammers, a new season, a new management, and new players

Due to their involvement in the Euros and Copa America, Edson Alvarez, Tomas Soucek, Vladimir Coufal, Alphonse Areola, Michail Antonio, Lucas Paqueta, and Jarrod Bowen will not be available.

In fact, Alvarez’s hamstring injury sustained playing for Mexico means he won’t be returning to Rush Green until closer to the beginning of the season.

Mohammed Kudus, the young star of the Hammers, will not be returning just yet unless he decides to do so early. Kudus played in Ghana’s World Cup qualifiers at the beginning of June.

With Luis Guilherme and Wes Foderingham signed, West Ham will have two new faces on Lopetegui’s first day.

However, it appears that West Ham’s goal of signing four players before the start of preseason proved to be a little unrealistic.

However, on Lopetegui’s first day “in office,” there will be one major revelation to look forward to.

Unveiling the West Ham strategy on Lopetegui’s first day
According to information obtained by Hammers News, the team will reveal its new home uniform in time for the commencement of preseason training.

We covered the purported internet leak of the new house kit last month.

Many West Ham supporters were not impressed by what they witnessed.

Their spirits did not get any better when the away uniform—which had a crimson Umbro emblem and had drawn harsh criticism from supporters—was also released.

Fans will now be able to witness the real deal, as West Ham intends to release it for pre-order on their website on Wednesday at approximately 8 or 9 a.m.

Later today, Lopetegui is scheduled to make his first appearance before the media as the Hammers’ manager.

Wednesday marks the release of a new house kit.
