A midfield player move has been negotiated between West Brom and a Turkish club.
Okay Yokuşlu, a defensive midfielder for West Bromwich Albion, is rumored to have joined Beşiktaş’s summer transfer list. This is likely a prelude to a possible raid by the Baggies.
The Turkish behemoths are vying for Yokuşlu, who missed just two Championship games the previous season, with another Süper Lig team Trabzonspor. Without Yokuşlu’s efforts at the base of midfield, West Brom would have struggled mightily to finish in the top six.
Albion, though, could soon have to make do without their number 35 because of the amount of interest other teams have shown in his impressive play. With just 12 years remaining on his deal, West Brom could have to take advantage of the situation while they can, even if it means accepting a low-ball offer.
