The offensive lineman Jacobe Ward has committed to Auburn football, and John Cohen discusses the importance of having prime opportunities at Jordan-Hare Stadium in today’s Auburn Tigers News.
Over the weekend, three-star offensive lineman Jacobe Ward committed to Auburn football, making him the 16th prospect in the class of 2025. Ward, who hails from Savannah, Georgia, attends Benedictine Military School, where current Auburn quarterback Holden Geriner went to school.
Ward made his first trip to the Plains in March, and even after trips to South Carolina, LSU, and Tennessee, the Tigers continued to dominate in the OL recruiting class. Following his formal June visit, Ward was prepared to make the Tigers his home. He revealed to Auburn Live that a key consideration in his choice was his rapport with the Auburn football coaching staff.
Jordan-Hare Stadium’s premium possibilities are necessary, as John Cohen says.
The Board of Trustees and Auburn Athletics Director John Cohen have given their approval for a new video board to be installed at Jordan-Hare Stadium’s north end zone before the start of the 2025 season. Cohen intends to enhance the gameday experience with other premium options, so the video board is only the beginning.
According to Auburn Rivals, Cohen stated, “I also think we have a need for increased premium opportunities in Jordan-Hare because we have waiting lists for all of our premium opportunities.” “We recently launched a premium opportunity called the Locker Room Club, and in less than two weeks, we sold out, demonstrating the fervor of our fan base and the current state of our football program.”
