GM of the Yankees: The team’s problems have “gone on long enough”
The Yankees, who had a fantastic start to the 2024 Major League Baseball season, have fallen into a bit of a rut, which is why their general manager decided to go on their most recent road trip.

According to Cashman, via The Athletic, “We’ve obviously struggled with a lot of different areas on the team and it’s added up to a (lot) of losses.” That’s the easiest way I can put it. There may be difficult times ahead.We really are the roughest around at the moment. It’s as if a light switch was switched from one to the other. However, it can turn too rapidly the other direction.
There is still a ton of baseball left to play, and both the trade deadline and the All-Star break are quickly coming. The Yankees would be receptive to “a lot of different things,” according to Cashman.
