Steve KerrBREAKING: FSU Football Sparks Fireworks On July 4 With Promise Of Four-Star Offensive Lineman Peyton Joseph.

Fireworks are going off around the country on Independence Day, and Seminole fans have another cause to rejoice on July 4th.

On Thursday afternoon, four-star offensive tackle Peyton Joseph committed to Florida State over Memphis. The Seminoles were the projected favorite going into the selection, and they prevailed against the Tigers, who were a candidate in part because they had a promise from Joseph’s high school friend, four-star quarterback Antwaan Hill.

This is a significant boost for the Seminoles and offensive line coach Alex Atkins up front. Joseph, an inside prospect at the collegiate level, joins five-star Solomon Thomas in the class. He had originally committed to the Florida Gators between February and April. Florida State is still chasing five-star Josh Petty, Ty Haywood, four-star Lamont Rogers, four-star Mario Nash (Mississippi State), and three-star Max Buchanan (Miami).
