He is now in his sixth season as a Crimson Tide defensive lineman.
The 6-foot-4, 302-pound Florida native was rated a five-star recruit for the 2020 class. Smith is one of just a handful players on this squad have a College Football Playoff National Championship ring from 2020. He has yet to have a genuinely dominant year, and he needs one right now.
