On Sunday, receiver Vernell Brown III (5-11, 170, Orlando, FL. Jones) committed to Florida over Florida State, Miami, and Ohio State.
Brown, whose father is Vernell Brown, a former Gator great, enjoyed the presentation that receiving coach Billy Gonzales gave him on his official visit.
“He showed me a presentation of his plan for me, which was huge. People talk about it all the time, but it was great for him to demonstrate it. “They have some big plans,” Brown III explained.
During his visit, Brown was also sold on the program’s cheerful atmosphere.
“When you get the opportunity to interact with various gamers, you will learn about their diverse experiences. You have the Tre Wilsons, who usually have the best experience, and someone who is still working their way up. I didn’t hear anything negative, and all of the guys seem to be enjoying themselves, which is a key selling point for coach Napier and his staff when it comes to the player experience,” Brown III said.
Brown’s commitment to the Gators was significant since he is a legacy target for Billy Napier.
