Patrick Mahomes Drops Ice Cold Line In Response To Las Vegas Raiders’ Kermit The Frog Puppetry
Patrick Mahomes isn’t concerned about what the Las Vegas Raiders are up to in July. The Kansas City Chiefs will have two opportunities to shut them down at the end of October and November.
The 28-year-old quarterback responded to his AFC West rival’s recent pranks with an ice-cold statement.
Mahomes is sometimes teased for sounding like Kermit the Frog. His voice is distinctive and has a remarkable similarity to the Muppets’ biggest star. He probably doesn’t see the comparison at this point, even if a Super Bowl reporter plainly irritated him by asking for his best impersonation.
Even though Mahomes had heard it all by now, the Raiders chose to poke the bear.
A video from training camp shows a group of Las Vegas players goofing about with a Kermit the Frog puppet dressed as Mahomes. One of them even joked, “I’m a b—-!
Given the Chiefs’ 10-2 record versus the Raiders with Mahomes at quarterback, the ridicule seems like a horrible idea. He has thrown for 3,573 yards and 30 touchdowns throughout that time.
This recent training camp stunt will simply add gasoline to his fire, if it reaches that far.
Patrick Mahomes discussed the footage at a press conference on Friday.
Las Vegas isn’t his primary concern right now. The Raiders will eventually get what they deserve!
Although the Kermit the Frog puppet is entertaining, targeting the reigning back-to-back Super Bowl winner and two-time MVP was a bad idea. Kansas City has dominated the AFC West in recent years, and their quarterback is the league’s finest. In July, the Raiders provided him with even more motive to conquer Las Vegas!
